Repeat customers are a good way to know if people really like your work.
Once I mail my product off to a client I never know how they feel once they open the envelope and look at the pictures. Some times I get a very nice email or a sweet comment on my blog or Face Book page, but most of the time I never really know if my work was enjoyed by a client.
But, when I client re-hires me that speaks volumes. It tells me they really do like my work; they had a fun experience with me the last time; they want to see what else I can do. Thank you Mike and Erin for giving me that feeling of joy. I had such a great time with you and your family last year that I could not wait to start this years session. Your sweet family has a special place in my heart.

OK Steph, you have to PROMISE me that at some point in the next few years I can take pictures of you guys!
As I was editing this session, I found myself a bit sad. Steph and her wonderful family moved to Texas!!! A few days before the big move, I was able to take pictures of them. I miss them already.
Steph was up for anything I wanted to do and she always had great outfits for the ladies. She never disappointed me and when we would talk before a shoot I would always get super excited; I felt like a kid the night before Christmas.
I must get over my fear of flying; not sure I can go a year without seeing the 4 of them. They have a special place in my heart.
I know you will find someone amazing in Texas; but when I ask, please tell me I am still their favorite photographer (and please share pictures of them).
Like we said after we hugged; this is not goodbye, only till we see each other again. XOXOX to all of you!

the tulips…

Our 1st attempt was shot down because the flowers were not out yet. Our 2nd attempt was a success. The sun was out, the flowers had popped and these little ladies had a great time in the mud.
