I have known Eric for as long as I can remember. We have spent many weekends camping with family and playing in his yard when we were little kids. It was fun to see him grown with a sweet family of his own.
Our session started out great, than all of a sudden the rain decided to join in on the fun. We found a dry spot and continued; we were not about to let a little rain stop us. Granted we had to cut the session short but I was still able to capture him and his family.

My mind is numb from the edits I have been doing so I will keep this short and sweet.
This is half of a super sweet and amazing family. I am so blessed that they are a part of my families life. Surrounding yourself with positive, happy people will only add to the joy in your life; they are proof positive.

the session my camera broke

Yes, you read right, my camera broke during this session. Thank goodness it waited till I was 90% done to decide it no longer wanted to take evey single frame I wanted it to take. This is one of my nightmare’s that came true.
This family has a get together once a year and they have always documented it with at photo. I have been fortunate to have them ask me not only this year but last year to capture their family. I wonder if they will want me back next? Could my camera let me down a second time??? I love the energy with this family; they are so kind and you can tell they have a blast together. Thank you for letting me share in part of your family tradition.
