A few weeks ago my parents came up for a short visit. It was wonderful seeing them and mom was here to celebrate her birthday. The family headed out for a very yummy dinner.
These drinks are to die for. My brother gave me a weird look when I pulled out my camera and started taking this picture. But he knows me and knows I take random pictures of odd things; love documenting life this way.
Hope you had a wonderful birthday mom! We love you and can’t wait ~ only 5 more weeks!
Here are a few more from my “normal” life. Every weekend we try to get a few hours away each day as a family. Last weekend the sun came out, so we headed down to one of the lakes, walked around it and then played a little ball on the court.
This picture was taken the other night before bed time. I find these little lego men all around my house. Notice they are missing their heads, arms and some don’t have torso’s at all. Those out there that have boys know what I am talking about. I always laugh out loud when I step on a missing arm and I have lost count the number of arms I have vacuumed up ~ sorry boys.

I promise I am still here and that I will have pictures up very, very soon. Took a little mini vacation this week; had some family business to do. But I am re-freshed and ready to get back into the swing of things. I can’t wait to show you what I have been working on (it involves two adorable sisters and a new baby ~ a little slice of heaven).
