My soul became warm today.
Springtime in Washington is so magical. We come out of the dark, wet days of winter as we feel the sun warm our skin. It always makes me smile. I was also lucky enough to spend some great time with an old friend.
I love spur of the moment meetings.
When everything just falls into place.
When you can’t remember the last time you laughed so hard or felt so good.

Today was Mother’s Day, my boys treated me like a queen and I finally took some pictures of my family. I hope all the mothers out there had a day as special as I did.
We headed down to a local beach and had a great time digging in the warm sand and feeling the sun on our backs. It just warms the soul.

salt spring island…

Over the weekend a few of my friends and I headed out of town for a “girls only” weekend. We had an amazing time as we recharged our batteries and left our hubby’s in “hell” while we went to “heaven” (that was a quote from the border agent when she asked what were were doing).
The island was beautiful; wish I would have taken a ton more pictures, I will know better next time.
