I walked into Dean’s home and was so happy to see great light in every room ~ a photographers dream. He was sleeping when I arrived and looked so sweet in his crib. He didn’t even wake up when we picked him up to start the session. In fact, I think he was still asleep after we took his clothes off; one tired little guy.
You can tell by the way his parents look at him that they are so in love. I am so happy that I am able to witness the joy between parents and child. There is nothing like the first few weeks of being a parent for the first time. The awe of the new experience; the ability to stare at your child for hours with a smile on your face; the feeling that life started the moment your baby was placed in your arms.
Dean is one lucky little guy, his parents are amazing!

asher is one…

One of the things I love best about repeat customers is seeing the children grow.
Asher was just a baby when I first met him; now look at him ~ he is one!!! He’s walking, smiles when I ask him to and look at those cute curls. One of the best things about Asher, besides his cute face and great personality, is his wonderful parents. It’s always a joy to spend an hour or two with this sweet family. I will miss seeing them every three months, they feel like friends to me.

ms. lauryn is 3….

The first thing Ms.L did was give me a big hug and tell me how good I smelled ~ how awesome is that!!!!! Last years session was an amazing tutu; this year, fairy wings and purple heels (which she walked the trails in ~ a girl after my heart). I wonder what next year will bring, hmmmmmm.
One of my favorite sessions in a long time. Thanks Lauryn for the laughs and fun times on the trail; thanks mama Sara for the great converstaion and stories (which can not be repeated here (wink, wink).
