the wedding that never got posted…

I am pretty far behind on lots of my posts. My plan is to get them all posted by the end of winter.

Here is the start of the sessions I never posted due to time. Back in June (the 1st day of summer), I took pictures at a friends wedding. It was fun not only in sharing the behind the scenes happenings but also share in his day. Shane and I have been friends for many, many years. It was such a special day; so great to see him happy and starting a new chapter in his life.

the perfect dress….

I was so happy to be asked to come and document the fitting of Kristin’s wedding dress.

She purchased her dress at the same shop that I purchased mine many, many years ago. My heart did a little flip when I walked in the door. I can still remember the day that I first saw my dress and than a year later when I went back and it was still there. I also remember the feeling of putting it on for the first time and knowing that this was it; this was made for me. Being surrounded by all those great dresses really made me want to try on a few just for the heck of it.

Kristin was radiant in her gown. It looks amazing on her. The joy on her face made me smile. I also got to see a side of her that I never knew; she is fun, ready for adventure and up for almost anything. I am so looking forward to this wedding. I can’t wait to try some new and fun ideas with her and Christopher.
