two mini sessions in the snow…
Posted on December 12, 2010
A few weeks back Bellingham was covered in snow. Who would have thought that we would be getting snow before Thanksgiving?!
I called my clients and they were both up for spending some time out in the white stuff. So, instead of canceling them, I split their sessions up into two mini ones; one now and one in the spring to make up for the lack of pictures I will get during the session (there is no way I wanted them or myself out in the cold for over an hour).
The timing was perfect and I got to cross something off my “hope to try some time” list- doing a session in the snow. By the time I was done, I had a hard time feeling my toes or my fingers. Not sure if I will attempt to do this one again.

missing the fall colors…
Posted on November 24, 2010
Looking out my window right now it’s in the teens and the ground is covers in a nice thick layer of ice. While I was editing these photos I was missing the fall color of the leaves on the ground.
This was one sweet family; Jacob with his wide eyes and playful personality; Owen this his open mouth grins and flying arms. Loved their playfulness and “lets have fun” attitude. Jaime, you and your family were amazing ~ thank you!!!

two boys and legos; i felt right at home
Posted on September 20, 2010
These two little guys made me feel right at home. We ran around the yard, saw who could jump higher, played in the tree fort and looked at Legos.
I did a session for them over a year in a half ago and I was amazed to see how big they have gotten. It was also a treat to be walking down their hallway and seeing those pictures hanging on the wall. It was a perfect way to spend an evening with a wonderful family.
