you may want to keep your distance

Why do I say this? Because this is the second session that one of the kids fell and hurt themselves. For the record I was no where near these kids when it happened, but I think I may be cursed.
This family is one of the sweetest bunch of people you will ever meet. I met cute Sara at the scrapbooking store many years ago. I always looked forward to scrapbooking events so we could hang out. Now that the store is gone, Sara and I have found another way to see each other – me taking pictures of her family. I would do this everyday. There is not a bad picture in the bunch, even AFTER the fall.
Thanks Sara and Darren; sorry if my bad karma took your little one down, I promise I will be more careful next time!

one gorgeous family

My friend Penni is not only beautiful and kind, but has one gorgeous family. We had been trying to do a session before her third child was born but due to circumstances we had to move the shoot date several times. Finally, a date opened up for both of us and it was perfect – well almost.
A few minutes into our session, sweet Olivia took a pretty hard tumble that required some extra TLC and some pretty big bandages. But she was a trooper and came back to finish the shoot.
Thanks Penni, my camera is ready for little Lucca.
