love this family…

I have known Brock and Julie for many, many years.  Our first attempt at this session was 1.5 years ago in November.  The day of our session it snowed!  The stars finally aligned and it was a perfect day for some photos.

There was so much fun energy coming off the 5 of them.  I could have followed them around the whole day (they were going swimming and golfing after we got done ~ hello, great photo opt there).  Guess I better come up with an all day, document your life package. 

Thanks Brock and Julie for letting me capture your lives.  You have one sweet and amazing family ~ love you guys.

Some kids just don’t like to smile around me.  I will not take it personallyand I will start working on new techniques to try to get those kids to smile (does anyone have any hints???).  Even though Connor really didn’t want to have his picture taken, I was able to get a few with his adorable smile.  At the end we took a few with him and his daddy next to daddy’s car ~ he lit up like a flashlight at that point.  He is all boy.   His little sister Ava sat for me like a pro.  She was wearing purple, which is one of my favorite colors.

Sweet family.  Super cute siblings that really genuine care for each other. 

Ashley is getting ready to leave the country for a while; Collins just started high school.  Both at completely different places in their lives but still able to connect and have fun together.  They even had an arm wrestling match during the session.  Watching the two of them together, made me want to step back in time and re-live a “sibling” moment with my two brothers.  Thanks you guys for showing me that even though my brothers and I are grown, we can still have fun together.  Brett, Mark, are you up for a arm wrestling match???
