Not only did I get out of cooking dinner tonight, thanks to my wonderful big brother who showed up with two pizza’s, I have been having fun working on these two sessions. There is nothing better than sitting down at our computer, itching to look at the images and than playing around till they pop. If I didn’t have to get up so early tomorrow, I would stay up all night playing with these.

35 is a great number…

I had the honor of photographing a couple that had just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. 35 years ~ this is a huge accomplishment.
Marriage is not easy, and sometimes the hard part is not walking away. I believe if you stick with it, fight for the love you have, you will be rewarded 10 times over.
Feeling the love these two people had for each other and their family, I cross my fingers and pray that I am as lucky as they have been. I am sure they had their bumps along the way but looking at the smile on their faces, they have had, and are still having a ton of fun together.

suylas is one!!!

This was a fun and messy session.
At first Suylas wanted no part of me. He was shy and didn’t want to leave his moms side. But after a ride around the yard in his new red wagon, he was ready to ham it up. At the end of our session, his mom brought out cupcakes and paint. By the end, Suylas and his mom were covered in paint (it was washable to I hope it all came out). Not a bad way to start off a nice warm Friday morning.
