cailin’s day

Ms. Cailin just turned 4.  She is the oldest and wanted a special day with her mom and dad to celebrate her big day.  She also requested pictures – I love her.

We spent some time wandering around Fairhaven and eating cupcakes.  Cailin got two cupcakes, one of them was chocolate and peanut butter; sound perfect to me.  After her session she was off to the mall to hang out with mom and dad and to buy some fun new stuff with her birthday money.  Baby#4 is expected to arrive any day.  Cailin is pretty excited to be a big sister for the 3rd time.  Looking forward to seeing this family again very, very soon.

Ellis is a boy full of energy.  I don’t think I was able to get him to sit still for more than a moment.  Oh, but what a delightful little guy.  So sweet and very smart.  Brooke, thanks for letting me spend some time with you guys throwing rocks in the water and take a little stroll.  I did feel bad I had to leave you guys, forgive me.

I was asked to attend baby Zoe’s shower and document the day.  I had such a great time getting to know this family and spending the day surrounded by wonderful people, amazing food and cute baby Zoe.

I love babies.  The way they smell.  Their tiny fingers and toes.  Their sweet round heads.  Have you ever noticed that when a baby is in the room, every one is a bit happier; their tone is soft and smiles are overflowing?

I love this family.  They made me feel like I was party of their family; which I wouldn’t mind being.  Such sweet people.  Zoe and her big brother are very lucky to be growing up in a family like this.  Grandma was flying back to Australia the next day.  I could have sat with her in a corner and talked for hours. 

I walked away with a smile on my face and a bag full of goodies.  Sara and her mom make the most wonderful treats!  Anytime you want a photographer at your family gatherings Sara, I am your gal.  Just pay me in cup cakes!!!!
